About
Hey! I'm Dounia, and I'm a student of Interactive Media Design. I love this field for its diversity, as I'm extremely curious and eager to discover and learn new things all the time. I believe I will pursue my studies to learn more programming, with the aim of finding work that combines creativity and technical skills, allowing me to travel while working.

video
150th
This is the result of an intense workshop, as it was my first time working with Cinema 4D and exploring photogrammetry. We had five days to produce a video backdrop for the catwalk organized on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the School of Applied Arts in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The video was displayed on LED screens next to the catwalk while the engraving class was passing by. It featured their works and faces captured through photogrammetry, with textures inspired by the works of artists such as Frida Kahlo and Yan Pei Ming. Additionally, we captured video footage during the event. This project was realized in collaboration with Bastian Mamin, and the music was composed by Stephan Russot.

Typographic Website
Gaffer Fest
Gaffer Fest is a fictional alternative music festival for which I created a font using tape. The entire identity of the festival had to be typographic and limited to black and white. I aimed for a minimalist yet impactful design. Although there is room for further refinement, it was a valuable first encounter with Glyphs.

Newspaper
Exquisit Times
This is a school project in which the entire class was assigned a font and real articles from The New York Times. We were then tasked with composing a double-page newspaper layout while experimenting with and adhering to the rules of microtypography.

Poster
EAA Open Day
This poster promotes the open day of the School of applied art of La Chaux-de-Fonds. I experimented with spilled acrylic paint to create shapes that inspired me. I then incorporated the picture I took of the spills to give them a more modern aesthetic. My goal was to create a poster that is visually striking, catchy, and representative of the various programs offered at the school, all while having some fun with the process.
